Skoda Warrenty

Featured Replies

Hi,

Just a quick question. I've bought a Fabia 1.9tdi estate second hand from a non Skoda dealer. It's an 05 plate and has the original 3yr Skoda warrenty until April 07. So to keep the warrenty valid do I have to get it serviced at a Skoda dealer or can I take it to an independent, and if so do they have to use original Skoda parts?

Cheers,

Jeff

Hi Jeff

No as long as the service is done to the schedual you will be fine

You dont even need to use OEM parts now either

Just make sure it is a good reliable independant

It is the car that has the warranty too , so it does not matter who`s name is on the system either

was told yesterday that if you don't use a VAG garage, you only get two years warrenty

The third year is provided by the dealer network.
