Fabia Vrs Armrest

Featured Replies

Looks exactly like my MK4 GTi one, wonder if they're all the same?

The armest has a 3B part code which is Passat, the end caps are 1U which is Octy MK1. The problem as I said is the brackets which are very unique and not supplied with a part number.

'kin 'ell did you do 'A' Level German?:D

Do you have a list of the separate part numbers for each bit by any chance? If they come from different cars which part is that DAO 409 001 Fabia label from?

If you could get a plan of the bracket i could see if my old man could knock one up in his workshop. Is that the bit you had to get from your special mate?

That looks excellent. Was it expensive Stu?

It is all a genuine part, the complete kit which is what that number refers too. All of the part numbers that are available are listed in that link I posted above.

It is reasonably expensive but well worth the ££

Just afer fitting my Polo one there, well pleased with it!! Probably not a stable as the Fabia one, but it should do my job OK.

It should have came from the factory like that though!!!!

Just to :bump: - AMG, have you got any pictures of the installed article?

Steve

This is something I do miss....I keep falling sideways onto the handbrake as there's nothing to prop myself up with.

Can't believe they don't supply these for the UK Fabia....that's daft.

Every arm rest gets in the way of the handbrake. That's why they lift up. Sigh...

I'll get you pictures at the weekend, it's dark by the time I get home from work these nights!!

It looks almost OEM from the front, but you can see the bracket holding it at the back, but I'm working on something to hide it!!!
