Finally managed to get some pics of the new motor.

Car is a bit dirty due to weather last week but it still looks pretty good..IMHO.

It's a 2.0ltr PD....surprised at how well it performs...diesel punch is excellent.

Yes - it's the MMI control -- or Multi Media Interface. Similar in concept to BMW I-Drive but alot easier to master and use.

Yep...pretty easy to use....Electronic handbrake takes some getting used to though.

I know what you mean -- did you know it has an emergency stop feature -- if you pull the handbrake switch whilst driving the vehicle will perform an emergency stop -- full on braking force -- it was demo'd to us by audi in an A8 travelling at over 120mph -- WOW!!

Amazing amount of braking force generated, although my colleague managed to pull the switch out of the consul when he tried :eek:

I have to say,travelling at 120 mph then having to do an emergency stop.....I'd forget all about the handbrake and would just be standing on the normal brakes!

I think it's there because it can be done. Also if driver falls ill passenger can stop car.

Tis true no handbrake turns possible with electric handbrake -- thats why they had to fit an old stylee handbrake to the A8 W12 in Transporter2

I saw Transporter 2 last week....I really did want my A6 in met black with pimped windows and the 19'' alloys.

Its about time that the table's were turned you seeing the back of my car disapering of into the distance adrain when it happens anyway very nice looking motor adrain hope to see it at the next Leather Bottle meet.

I'm sure it's lovely. Obviously business is booming :P
