Featured Replies

My Ixus 700 is now starting to look a bit tatty, but its used daily, frequently dropped, and is now over 2 years old... :P

I too would recommend staying with the Ixus range... :)

I smashed the screen on mine, and sent it to a Canon repair shop in Colchester and they replaced it for free, including giving it all a good polish up.

Worth giving them a bell as they may just do it under warranty for you, and if not it might not be as dear as you think!

I phoned the Colchester place that Tom posted above which happens to be my nearest of the 3 available service centres.

Panasonic DMC LX2, does everything, is small, and weighs next to nothing.

I have one in black and cannot fault it.

TZ3 is also a good camera. Got mine in blue.

I certainly like my Lumix FZ5 , though it's quite a bit larger than is needed here :)

My girlfriends got one, a bit bigger than the ixus range, but a very good camera
