has anybody been told about a recall on the octavia vrs 56 plate dealer told me this morning it was some thing to do with the stereo let me know

Is it the one where the steroe drains the battery and requires a software update?

My Elegance does that very occasionally, about 4 or 5 times in the year and a half i've had it. Stream HU.

I doubt it would be a recall, there may be a service bulletin.

:eek: that's a bit worrying.

As for the stereo question, it's a simple software upgrade that your dealer can do while you wait but it's not classifed as a recall as such but a service bulletin as Stu says.

:eek: that's a bit worrying.

My flywheel has now been changed, but it obviously wasn't enough of a worry for the original owner (Skoda UK) or the supplying (Skoda Approved) dealer to do it :eek:
