Roomster TV Advert

Featured Replies

Who saw the new Skoda Ad broadcast last night.. the factory building the Roomster all 'happy'. Quite good advert yet totally stupid at the same time.

They give the impression that the car is the joke it is.

I saw it - thought it was very "Citroen Picasso" with all the assembly robot shots.

Skoda must be splashing out - the one I saw was in a commercial break during Coronation Street on either Xmas Eve or Xmas Day (its all a bit of a blur) but definately a prime-time slot!

I thought I was seeing things ....soo glad it's not just me who saw it....."Skoda makes happy drivers" I think was the buzz line

I also spotted this, I wondered if it was a citroen advert then saw the body shell and relaised it was the Roomster. Another odd advert from Skoda.

i saw that, i thought the robots were all laughing at the roomster????

You watch "Corra"............. ........[ Has Danny been found yet......;) ]

i saw it too , i wasn't watching Corry though , may have been in one of the breaks of the special Deal or no deal

i thought it was a new Honda advert at first , and was quite surprised when the Roomster turned up on the screen at the end

Love your avatar!

The advert made me laugh too, just like I laugh when I walk past Horners in Manchester and laugh at, A) at the dealer for being so utterly hopeless in my dealings with them, and B) at the Roomster for being so utterly stupid looking. I am looking for a car of this sort, but no way am I buying a Roomster. I may have moved from the fast single side of life, to being married with kids but that doesn't mean I have absolutely no sense of personal dignity and self-image left.

What ever were they thinking?

Brilliant advert, yet again.

Well done Skoda.

Shame the car is atrocious.

I like the Ad , its not as good as DDB's VW ads in the 60s 70s and 80s , but they are the same sort of style. As for the Roomi , its better looking than the Zsara Piccaso , Fiat Doblo , and the original Multipla , but there are more 'average' looking mini MPVs for those who want to fade into the background (Meriva etc)

I love the advert, especially the mitt at the end dusting off!!

I dont understand how Skoda can call it an MPV, there is more room in my Octavia and Superb and they are not MPV's.

Or is it that cack shaped cars are classed as MPV's???

I seem to remember the Fabia was or is classed as a supermini

We saw that robot that examines the engines when we went to the factory, pretty impressive.

I was like a kid in a toyshop, I would have happily spent all day in there.
