Is the passenger airbag deactivation switch able to be fitted as a retro fit by a dealer. I have read that it can be deactivated by the dealer but can't find anything about the actual switch.

I told myself when ticking the options sheet " No, now why would I need one of those?" and then an act of god or a moment of sheer carelessness and you need one!

I have been to the dealer and spoken to a lot of people on here and else where. It isn't really possible to fit a switch after the build. There are ways of deactivating it physically but it would also need to be switched off using VAG Com.

I came to the conclusion is was easier to put the spawn in the back

I'm pretty sure it's not a retrofit but as Decron says it can be disabled by the dealer.
