What sort of alarm does the Fabia vRS have and is it any good?

it makes a noise when it goes off:D

it has a movement sensor inside , dead locks on the doors etc, so i don't think it stealable without the keys

When the vRS was introduced, the Fabia range gained a Thatcham approved cat 1 alarm which meets the basic requirements. However, it won't compete with aftermarket offerings from Toad, Clifford, etc

could you get the standard fob to use a Toad alarm?

I have heard of them doing that b4 with the original car fob but dunno how they do it.

Mine has sweet F.A - I like it that way! If I forget to crank the ignition when opening the car. it flashses its hazards when I open any other door. I prefer it to jst flash than wake up the neighbours! I need no alarm where I live anyhow!!!! :thumbuo:
