Hi All I Know This May Sound Like A Daft Question But What Does The V Stand For In Vrs

Victor Renn Sport? Or Victory Renn Sport? The Renn Sport is correct but I have heard a few different storys about the V!

V apparently stands for Victory!

RS is rally sport, Ford tried to sue Skoda for copyright/trademark infringement, Skoda won hence the v for victory, only appears on cars for certain markets rest of world just badged RS. Covered many many many times

I'm sure RS stands for Renn sport... If they had won a case to use RS (rally sport) why would they make all their efforts pointless by putting a v infront anyway?

It would appear that the general consensus is the RS stands for rally sport as opposed to renn sport which is German in its orogin, and the RS badge as been used long before any VW input.
