hello everyone,

I just wanted to say that i am about to be come the proud father to a new Fabia vRS, seemed like a nice pressent to get myself.

I've never owned a skoda before and am now enjoying the comments from friends when i tell them i have just put down the deposit for a skoda.

I have to say i wasnt going to buy a vRS i was really looking at the 100bhp Elegance but i took one for a test drive (thanks for persuading me virginia) and realised that although i am sure i would have been more than happy with the lesser powered car i wouldnt have such a huge smile on my face as i do when i get out of the vRS.

I should be picking up the car in a week and a bits time but unfortunately xmas and the new year are just getting in the way of things, i cant wait.

found this site when doing some research about possible new cars and think it seems excellent, i now have plenty of old mails to go through.

Enjoy the new vRS

All I can say is we treated ourselves to a 04 Fabia vRS with 16k on the clock - and, three weeks in, we love it i.e. both myself and my wife.

The 'shock horror' is that Jeremy Klaxon (aka the diesel phobe) likes them too.
