I understand the history behind Skoda in rallying but why can't they join the WTCC too?

I can't think of anything I would like to see more in motorsport at the mo (apart from Rickard Rydell back in a Volvo:thumbup:). I know they'd be competing too much with SEAT but there are brand loyalty issues here and i don't support SEAT!

It's all to do with the VAG diversity program.

Audi - prestige brand - Le Mans

VW - 'Middle class' brand - too posh to rush!

Skoda - Value brand - WRC

Seat - Sporty brand - WTCC

It's the same at Tesco's

Bugatti - prestige brand - No point in competing

Audi - psuedo prestige brand - Le Mans

VW - 'Middle class' brand - too posh to rush!

Skoda - Value brand - WRC

Seat - Sporty brand - WTCC

Bentley - Prestige Brand - Le Mans

Bugatti - prestige 'sport' brand - No point in competing

Audi - psuedo prestige brand - Le Mans (with a Diesel!)
