grill

can the grill blades be removed to just be a hole?

Won't rocks hit your radiator/aircon condenser/intercooler?

was thinking of replacing it with something else:) how often do you get rocks hitting your car?!

Ahh, I see.

And judging by the number of stone chips on the bonnet I think it gets hit by small rocks all the time :(

Actally I was thinking of doing something similar on my Octy - the local boy-racer shop sells mesh that matches my Milotec lower grilles.

Presumably you can dismantle the grille then use a Dremel or Stanley knife to remove the slats, leaving the frame in place?

Leon take a look at vrsStu's fabia website, the section about colour coding the fabia grille. It has instructions on dismantling the grille with pics.

That might help you decide how feasable your idea is.

thats a big gob!

The 3 parts of the grille separate, I did this when I colour coded it. And again when I meshed it - which I guess thats what you want to do?

>>>Clicky for piccy<<<

Scroll down and there is some pics of it on there, I will take some more tomorrow too and hopefully have the lower vents finished
