Audi TT pads same as Vrs?

Featured Replies

Please can someone help. I know the discs on my 2004 Vrs are 312mm front and 256mm rear. - The same as the Audi TT 225 quatro. So the discs from a TT will fit straight on, however are the brake pads the same?

I'm assuming they must be different as im looking for EBC red stuff pads, however they are not listed for the vrs but are for the TT.

Are the calipers / wear indicators different? - must admit i'd be surprised if they were. - Hoping to be able to just order the pads for a TT.

Uncertain, but I dont think the red stuff have a good rep on a side note.

I'd go for Pagid Blue pads. No problems at all with them :):)

I highly recommedn Ferrodo DS2500...no wear indicators...but they really are in improvement.

If you're going to change the discs...get some grooved ones...I had some EBC ones.

Also change the fluid to a higher rated one dot4.1 (Castrol Response or soemthing liek that) is more than adequate for day 2 day driving plus....a few track days.

Where would one get ferrodo DS2500 pads as I would like to upgrade mine as well
