Touched by an Angel

Featured Replies

Just had the car breathed on by Angel tuning. Gosh:D . Got a really decent price, below what most other companies are charging, and came to me to do it. Really friendly,a dn full of realistic advice. Found out that the car wasn't running right in the first place. Another company, I won't name, had apparently added a 'trial' some time before I bought the car. This had thrown the standard settings way out, so they had to play around to correct this too.

Looking forward to a decent dry day, when I can try the car properly without the wheels still trying to spin in third:rolleyes: .

Will have to see how it pans out in the longrun, day to day, looking promising.

hmm did you ask them to do a mild map?

Just left the keys with them. It is not aggressive unless you plant the foot. Girlfriend (who does not know or would not 'allow' what a remap does, or costs) drove it, and didn't notice any difference, just said it was smoother. So drives well gently if the situation/driver demands.

Is it just me whose never heard of these lot? I just googled for them and found the site.

I'd always be a bit wary of these mobile tuners, weilding a laptop. But if you're happy, then fair play....

Whereabouts in the country are you? I'd be interested to see how the car performed on a RR day, whenever the next organised one is in your part of the world.

In the Basingstoke area. I did my research before taking the plunge, there are mentions on here if you do a search. Had a look on a number of other sites/forums too, and heard good things.

and the big question is,what did it cost ya then:D

Normally costs £375 all in, managed to get a little better than that, could have been even better if could have got my mate and fellow Briskodian there at the same time, but he couldn't find the spare wedge this month.

You could always come to the RR day at Portsmouth on the 20th Jan 07 with us, run it and see what the new BHP is ????

Nice one :)

I'm staying in Winchester on the Friday night, so if you get permission to come out to play, I can meet you at Tesco's at Winnall, on Saturday morning, coffee then down to Pompey.

Will see how the 'fuhrer' is at the time I decide to ask. Sounds like a good plan, will be in touch before then.
