Had a problem with my VRS, everytime I braked a loud beep would sound and a bulb out light would come on.

Checked all brake lights and they work fine.

If you guys/dolls have had the same problem and now it is driving you mad. Just find the fuse for the control unit for lamp failure and remove it..............SILENCE!!!!!!

check to make sure that you have the right type of bulbs in, iirc if you have a 21W bulb one side and a 5W bulb on the other it confuses it into thinking one has blown

mmm, checked all the bulbs and they are all correct. Might be the third brake light causing a problem which is common.

Anyway, fuse out, no harm done and silence.

I don't remember mine beeping when I had a bulb out (about the only thing it didn't beep for! ) ... have you checked brake fluid level?

mine does beep when one of the bulbs is out..... but i think it depends on what spec car you have
