Warranty up today.............Modding time.

Featured Replies

My car is no longer under warranty from today and since being a member of this site i have now caught the modding bug.

"Dam you Briskodians, i have never modded a car ever"

I have contacted Sarah at Awesome and spoken about getting a CAI fitted in february. "Sarah if you read this i need to arrange a date for feb"

I have now changhed my insurance to Chriss Knott, after getting a great deal with them and i dont have to pay extra for small mods to my car over the period.

So it looks like my car might be having a few changes done from now on.

GT2X or GT28RS

:D

APR stage 2 remap + Miltek downpipe and cat back section

i dont have to pay extra for small mods to my car over the period.

Does that refer to the size of the mods or the performance gain from them?! A remap is quite small, physcially ;)

I was told there would be no increase for things like CAI's, aftermarket dump valves, etc.

They said there might be a rise in excess if you have a remap, but no increase in the policy premium.

Let the mods commence!!!

Chris Knott seem to be very reasonale then, no increase to the premium for a remap is simply amazing!!!!

The All-Seeing Eye.

Shades of George Orwell's 1984.

Don't worry, I've been watching you, too. Am trying so hard to resist tinkering with Fabia vRS (also trying not to catch DevonUtopia - I hear it's more infectious than MRSA).

BTW

Hi Sarah.

Hi Mate

You well?

Think we will have to get a Briskoda mini meet here at some time , so then I can go through a few tips on modding for you guys... ;)

I would also love to get a Fabia vRS in and see if we can get these short shifters to fit too  that would be great

Sarah

I'd be up for that I think, I've been to-ing and fro-ing about options for weeks now, and Liverpool's not too big a trek across.

Funnily enough, I had an interview at a place on the same estate as Awesome a couple of months ago, didn't realise until afterwards, damn it. How perfect a job would that have been? Oh well.

(My first briskoda post, woo, hello everyone)

Hi NikIf your ever in the area pop in and see us

I can always do with an excuse for a brew ;)

Hope to see you soon , oh and pre warn you , men NEVER bring their wallets in when they come and say hello , I dont know why ?
