Magnex exhaust system for fabia vrs

Featured Replies

Has anybody had the full Cat back system (Part No. XSS12-FS1) installed & is it as good as the blue flame/milltek exhaust systems???

Still got the stock exhaust on mine. Not planning on changing it till it falls off.

When you say as good how do you mean?

You make you car sound like a lorry

Save your money, as an exhaust system ain't gonna make a great deal of difference. Unless you have or plan to do serious mods.

The OEM system does a good job as it is.

Just my opinion.

Good point though if you were going to do some serious mods how does the Magnex fair to the blue flame and Miltek exhaust systems, which cost about

I don't think anybody on here has a Magnex system.

The popular ones are the Milltek & BlueFlame systems. Better quality I guess.

I didnt even know a magnex system existed for the vrs.

I do know the blueflame is worth the money for the noise alone!!

My honset opinion of Magnex, is that they are a bit ch@v.

Just my opinion.

I agree.

think the stock exhaust is good enough this side of a VNT17 turbo incl hybrid.

I was all set for a milltek or blueflame exhaust untill I had my car on a ramp, the standard setup is actually pretty good despite the mechanical silencer. Losing the cat though made a very nice difference. :)

If you want a performance exhaust, your best bet is just to take off you standard back box, cut the top open, take out about half the baffles and weld it closed again, and off course a decat.

This can all be done in very little time and, the most important bit, next to no cost. It probably sounds agricultural, but it works!!!

The system that is listed on that website is a cat back system. Therefore it is around the same price as the Milltek and Blueflame anyway. Get the Blueflame, I'm really impressed with mine!

Just because Exhausts make 2-3 hp in rolling road figures more... Doesn't mean they are pointless. The difference my exhaust surved was power throughout the whole rev-range and a bit more blast at the top end.

HP isn't everything....
