Hi all

I'm doing about 500 miles per week up and down the motorway and am considering a change from an Octavia vRS, to a diesel 130 Octavia.

What sort of MPG and tank range can I expect, bearing in mind that virtually all my miles are on the mway and I tend to drive between 70-80mph.

If you are looking for cheaper motoring, then the 110 is the way to go.

I get between 55-60 mpg with my 110 estate at 70-80 mph.

Although if a 130 was available when I was looking for mine, then I'm sure I would have gone for the 130.

I'm getting 44mpg from my 130 and all my driving is short congested town trips at the moment. Should get 55-60 easy cruising on the m/way. Tank holds 13-14gal including reserve I think, so well over 700miles to a tank.
