Featured Replies

I was having quite a bit of trouble trying to find a supplier of the above mentioned brake discs. I managed to track them down eventually.

Has anyone had any experience of these???

I managed to warp them with no problems, I assumed they were of a lighter metal so replaced with some others which have been fine.

/P

No problems with mine, done the Ring(Good few laps)and a couple of trackdays aswell.

IIRC Porsche use them as standard on alot of models so cant be too bad

Thats what I heard. I also have them on my Octy for about 10k miles now. No problems had at all, even been around the ring and silverstone on them.

Done 25k on a set as well as 20+ laps of Castle Coombe using ceramic pads.

They are still stopping me just fine although I think my last hot lap might just have warped them a little....

yes porsche do use drilled discs, but the aint made by zimmerframe or whatever they are called...... the porsche calipers and discs are made by brembo

And they are the best brakes i've had the pleasure of using for a long period of time.

Ahhh got you now, it was my bad punctuation. What I was trying to say is that Porsche do use them on some of their models but use brembo on others

iirc, they use pagid discs and pads on some other models too..... the real early models anyway
