Hi all

newbie here so I hope this is the right forum fo rthis question.

On starting my Octavia (1.6 on W Reg) indicators and hazrds light will blink once then not at all. Stop engine restart same problem, 5 minutes later they work? Garage couldnt find a problem, any suggestions?

You need to replace the hazard switch, the indicator relay is on the back of the switch.

Remove the little piece of plastic that says Octavia carefully, Pull the red triangular switch out, put the new switch in, test and then put the plastic cover back on.

IIRC the part is about £30 and the newer part will make a different, less mechanical, clicking noise.

Or it could be the indicator stark.I had two replacements on my octavia.

Hazard switch is very common as Mark says.
