Revamped Skoda UK website...

Featured Replies

Much better than it was but still not fully up-to-date. The FAQs haven't been updated to reflect that the car doesn't have to be serviced by a Skoda dealer to keep the warranty valid, and the Octavia L&K is available again as a Hatch according to the Octavia pricelist - I thought it had been discontinued in the UK. But minor points, really.

Update: Well worth a look with some very nice screensavers available. I couldn't download either Skoda phone logo since the process involves entering a code for the selected logo - but there isn't one. However I have registered and ordered brochures for the current models. The dealer list has been updated and now shows type of dealer, ie new car sales, approved used car sales, authorised repairer, business sales centre. There is also a handy map showing local dealers if you type in your postcode. In my case there are 9 dealers to choose from within 40 miles!

Denis, PM me your mobile and I'll SMS you the logo. I tried it on my SE T630, but they don't replace the operator logo like you can on a Nokia.

Apart from that, the 'new' website looks awfully familiar to the Skoda Auto one. Same lay-out, etc. New corporate look springs to mind.

Yep, indeed it does, but far better I think than the cryptic square blocks....

The swines beat me to it, have the code aswell, just need to extract the data from our reviews section...

However, if you try and search for a used car, it just shows you the stock at your nearest dealer... :grumpy:

Rob.

Like the new site but as Rob pointed out the search is now poo. Trying to find a nice Octavia vRS for me brother now is a pain as you have to search by dealer and not area code.

The site now allows national searches for used cars. It is also possible to have a look at individual dealers' stock lists from within that search.
