Got a 160 mile round trip to do to collect a 4x4 tonight and I can't get the bonnet open to check oil/water etc!!!

Anyone got any ideas?

Cable is detached from the handle but hasn't snapped as its opened like this before, but won't open now, hoping I can get it open to check it!!!!

Need help desperately!

Its booked in next week, but thats no good to me in the immediate future!

If the cable has detached at the handle end in the cabin then just remove the handle and pull the cable with pliers or similar. If it's at the catch end you need access from under the car.
