Beautiful Alfa 147

Featured Replies

I think this is stunning and cheap.Cracking wheels too and leather

Who is going to pay

People who want a bigger car (Octavia) or a diesel hot hatch (Fabia) ? ;)

And its over £15400 for a 5 door diesel with less power...

Does look to be a nice package though for the money none-the-less, but can't see it tempting people out of their Skodas tbh.

Skoda drivers aren't swayed by good looking cars believe it or not

I love the facelifted 147.. and the price of this one seems to be Great.. but the new model is coming out soon though (149)..

seems like a good price to me. Nice looking car.

Lovely car... at a great price, but the eternal shadow of reliability/build quailty still looms over Alphas imo, even after their recent changes...

The 159 Lusso courtesy car I recently had was lovely to look at and sit in with it's full natural leather and toys, but it was irritating to drive with it's apparently random throttle response and heavy tramlining.

147 is awful pretty tho.

Anyone who's knuckles don't drag on the ground when they walk? ;)

Beauty is only skin deep - especially with an Alfa

Not cheap - but at least its still cheaper than most Alfas nowadays and looks nicely specced. Don't know how much the Fabia RS special edition will actually be but I imagine it will be a lot cheaper than this ... if it was the same price I would go for the 147 (although this is all theoretical as im a dad with 2 kids anyway and need my Octy for size / load carrying :D )

nice package but a bit basic £3k more than I payed for my Fabia. although the special edition its slightly cheaper than the romeo. 3 groups higher insurance

Buy it in a year for half that price though ;) nice looking car though

Having driven a 156 a couple of years ago for 2 weeks on holiday, I must say that I would never buy an alfa. They are to qwerky and seemed to be designed for form rather than function. Tiny door mirrors that look nice, but whats the point if you cant see anything in them, Climate control that had a mind of its own, and so on.

Yep - if you really want one, just wait 6-12 months and then see how much they are :D

Gorgeous looker though

Steve

That's a lot of money for a basic range car. And a car which will depreciate fast.

Nice to look at, nice to drive (when they work)

BUT

12 months down the line watch how cheap they are nearly new

Suffer the syndrom of incompetent dealers (TBF Skoda are going the same way as are ALL car manufacturers - so a 1st from Alfa)

Suffer the days in a courtessey Ka whilst yours is being repaired...

I had a 156 - new - loved the car when it worked - hated the dealers and unreliability.

Those wheels will be a PITA to clean! It looks nice in Black with the Beige leather tho.
