Parkers Depreciation Busters - Fabia VRS

Featured Replies

Fabia VRS still performing well, 8 in the list above the Mini! Bargain bucket, car football playing Aygo and 1007 at top. See:

The Parker's 100 depreciation busters - Parker's

Might not be so good in 2007 with New Fabia coming out!

The vRS version wont be out for a year or so after that so may hold it for a bit longer

It appears below the Citroen C1 and a Kia  Is this list based on rrp or actual price? :D

Looks like it's the difference between Parker's target new price compared to 1 year part-ex price.

Wouldn't read too much into it as companies on produce these lists for PR :D

Misses just knocked some off the value of mine by badly curbing an alloy:(

The list is also in pounds not percentage.

traded in an Aygo (basic bottom spec model) that cost me

I knew there was another reason why I didn't get a Citroen C2 VTS and a CLIO 182. £2000 depreciation difference!!!

I just sold mine 3yrs and 4 months old, 50k on the clock for £6800. That's over 55% retained value over the period and includes excess mileage!

It was a bullet proof buy, though I do believe they wont fetch quite as much in 3 years from now...

But look closely at the list and you'll realise the Fabia is actually not 6th but 16th.

Still not bad but they counted 0-10 twice and missed out 50-60.

Interesting that the Fabia estate depreciates more than the Fabia hatch, but the Octavia estate depreciates less than the Octavia hatch.

If you look closer the VRS is in 8th! ;)

I'm both stupid and blind I guess
