Fancy buying a farm, opening a locked barn ......

Featured Replies

Fancy finding that collection of cars, doing a check and then find out they are "ALL STOLEN CARS", looking for their rightful owners.

Without the right documents, what would you do with them ?????

There does seem to be something a bit suspect doesn't there - you've have thought someone would have questioned what was in "the padlocked old aircraft hanger-sized warehouse"

Hmmm, imagine the scenario...

You go looking for a property to renovate and move to in rural Portugal. Ater a few months of searching for your perfect property, you find an idilyc old farmhouse for the same price you'd pay for a ****ty little flat in a not-very-pleasant area of the UK

It's been empty for 15 years and requires a fair bit of work, but comes with acres and acres of land, several outbuildings including a very sizeable barn. When viewing the property, you can't get inside the barn because there's a padlock on the door that's stuck solid and the doors are rusted shut. Not surprising seeing as it hadn't been opened for 15 years, but barn or no barn, this is your dream property and can be had for peanuts, so you snap it up. Sell your house over here, and start living in your Portuguese Farmhouse

You spend the 1st few weeks turning the house into something worthy of living in temporarily before you really get down to work on renovating it and tidying up all the land that comes with it

So, one day you go outside and make it your mission to get in the barn and see what it's like in there, so you get your angle grinder out, force those stiff, rusty old doors open to be greeted by this:

Barnfinds Portugal The link has the car names under most of em)

Not sure I believe the story myself, but for me thats better than winning the lottery! (didn't have to cough up the quid anyway, lol)

What would you do with em all? Parts availibility would be non-existant for most of them. Any of them got keys? Surely no documents...

What a find though.

I find it somewhat difficult to believe, that someone would bugger off, and leave them all behind.

 that guy certainly didn't want any 1 else to see his tresures... what a find...
