Never had the need or desire to split a Fabia seat down to it's component parts, but there might be someone who does. Bit of fun to be had soon to attach Fabia subframes, and if possible, the plastic surrounds too - to a new set of seats. I went to look at them tonight and they're halfway between recaros and ch4v bucket seats, but I think they'll look good, and more to the point - stop my a55 sliding about all over the shop when I go round corners....

Most of the plastic just unclips, but I'm not sure the seat pan detatches easily from the runners.

I can see angle grinder being put to use on both subframes to make one Fabia compatible subframe. bottom half = fabia, top half = new seats.

Those rage seats are awful, submarine like mad and last about five minutes...lol

Did u try the CG lock thingie Jase? Does stop sliding about.

You really like the power of an angle-grinder don't you? Get a petrol-powered one and then you can have fun cutting off parking clamps!!!!
