Hello ALL!

Really don't know where to start so.........

My name is Mark, 24yrs old, getting Skoda Fabia Classic 1.4 TDI PD 70bhp EDL+ASR etc etc at the end of feb through company lease (trust me, i'm paying pennies for it...literally).

Peviously owned FIAT Punto 1.2 16v SX (R reg) and then Toyota Corolla T3 1.6 16v VVTI (52/2002).

I've always admired the Fabia and I've actually liked Skoda even in its dark ages.

As a young male dubbed "another boy racer", the skoda is highly impressive with its build, performance and style. Even my mates are impressed!

I've had a few test drives in the past so I know what to expect but I was wondering if anyone else had any comment on the model I chose?

Starting a page or two for the my Fabia at My Skoda Auto, which will eventually have a photo gallery, review etc.

Anyway, I just wanted to say hi everyone! :cool:

Neigbour with a Fabia Mk4 called me recently, his drivers door and the rear (right) passenger doors were partly open with what looked like a stainless steel rod jamming the two doors in their partly open/closed positions, to make a long story short, it was the door umbrella that apparently had shot out somehow or other and jammed the two doors, he had partially opened the back door to let his dog out I think and had let his own door partially open, or something like that. Hi Everyone, I have been investigating how I can replace the decorative trim pieces on the console of the O4 (see attached picture (version I would like). The easy part has been figuring out the general part numbers, however I get stuck on the specifics. I know the O4 has two technical variants; one with stock leds and one with RGB leds, and that there is a multitude of different codes for all the different colours/textures. I am looking to remove the spare wheel and lower the boot floor in a 2016 4x4 Yeti - so that there is a larger flat area once the seats are removed. This is what my searches have brought up regards doing this: "With the Haldex four-wheel-drive system, the rear differential and 4x4 running gear sit directly beneath the boot. To accommodate those parts, Skoda manufactured the metal floor pan of the 4x4 chassis with a raised "hump". Even without a spare wheel, a 4x4 Yeti's standard floor sits a fe

Been here a little under 7 years. Great forum, I'm sure I'll hang around still but I've moved my octy on now for a VW Tiguan. The Octavia was a cracking car, reliable too. I took it from 47k to 120k miles, and it really didn't disappoint. The only issue it had was the heater matrix, which I had replaced eventually after freezing hands in winter!! It will pass to a new owner with full service history (Independent Vasstechnik in Eastbourne who are just great with all VW group cars). I've left

Last September my Kamiq 1.5 DSG 2020reg (regularly serviced) displayed 'Gearbox in Emergency Mode'. Very near home so able to limp home. Dealer took it in and fixed it under extended warranty. All okay until a month ago when it happened again, this time far from home. Switched off the car, restarted and all back to normal and drove perfectly. Yesterday it happened again and only D2 available. Started car today, no problem, all working, no warning sign. I'll be contacting the dealer again
