HI! A couple a months ago I noticed strange smell from the exhaust system of my Skoda Fabia 1.2 HTP, especially when the car was cold. It smells like there is some sugar in the gases or something sweet! I went to the dealer several times and he they told me that there is nothing to worry about!!! I' ve made some diagnostics and indeed there wasn't problem at all. I'd like to ask is there any problem with the catalytic converter which can produce that smell?! Thanx in advance to all the users helping here!

it's probably just petrol vapour.... has it been miss-firing at all??
