Warning for I-Tunes Users

Featured Replies

Adobe reader doesnt work with vista either and nero has "issues"

funny that all these pieces of software have one thing in commmon. they all stick a process on your machine that runs at startup without telling you that they do and they all run unnecessarily as you only really need them when you want to run them.

Good on microsoft for breaking these bloated software packages.

Nero 7.0.0.13 seems to work fine on Fister for me , but it does flag up a warning about having "issues"

iTunes works fine the only time you have a problem is when you try to authorise your purchased music as Microshaft has locked the My Music folder.

Plus there is a fix for it on the Apple Site

Ah, this is why i have a MAC :D

Ah, this is why i have a MAC :D

hehehe... snap :D

Mind you.. Apple and the iPod wouldn't be the success it is if it wasn't for the windows version of iTunes...

oooh... i was just about to go out and download..... i mean purchase a copy too!! wont bother now

The latest version of Nero is fine for me. Acrobat reader v8 wont install for some reason but v7 must as its preinstalled on my new laptop.

The article makes interesting reading. Although Vista has only been available to the public since the end of Jan, Apple have had at least 2 months prior to that date to fix itunes when vista went RTM. Indeed we have had it installed at work for some weeks already.

I had an email from my broadband supplier (Orange) saying that some problems had been found with Vista and to visit the website if I intended to use it.

Like i said Vista and iTunes works fine

Clicky

or failing that buy a mac and have no issues :D

We had the same problems when 2000 & XP was released, with program and hardware compatibility, Giving it a bit of time and all will be sorted. XP didnt really take off from release.
