Who was it was running (not driving) the ethanol fuelled Ashtray last year?

I knew she drove it; I specifically asked who ran the car.

I think it was techspeed racing with thurlby motors as key sponsor.

Those names strike a chord. The biodiesel thing I thought was notable for what it didn't say, like who's running the team, what car, what drivers, what sponsors...

Yeah it was, Thurlby's are my local dealers where my bro in law works.

They're the one's who did the 888 diesel astra as well. It's a beast, test drove it on the same day as i test drove and ordered the vRS. Just couldn't bring my self to spend 19k on an ashtray.

Think thurlbys are gonna be running last years works astras this year, well they were trying to buy them anyway.

Saw a diesel golf in the VW cup a few years back, it was a support race, with Golfs, Beetles, corrado's etc, for the DTM at Donnington Park too.

Allard have been running their Mk4 Golf TDI in the VW Cup & there was also a MK5 Golf TDI but can't remember who runs that one.

Yeah, its a pretty smart racing series, need's updating to the VAG cup so Skoda's can race, think the Bugatti would keep winning tho:D
