Attention: All (Stock) Octy vRS Owners

Featured Replies

Bit of a long shot, but is there an Octavia MkII vRS owner near the Birmingham(ish) area that can spare a couple of hours this Tuesday 13th February. Only proviso is that your car is stock i.e. NO modifications and you are prepared to have your car put on a rolling road.

If by chance you can assist then please send me a PM.

Am told BHP varies big time on this engine, anything from 196 to 216 bhp.

Mike

I've not seen one as high as 216 but 197 is stock.

I read in Autocar 0-60 in 6.6 and 0-100 in 17.3..........can i expect that or is this another case of "flying press car"?

Mike

:bump:

Good luck.

To be honest Mike I don't really know what the 0-60 times are. It really depends on how good you are at launching and how much grip you can get.

6.6 smells of stage 1 map to me. Thats the sort of times I was getting.

Stage 1 =?

Mike

Stage 1 remap. A revision of performance software aimed to enhance the performance of your car.

Wish i'd see this earlier as I had the day off!! Sheffield to Brum, not that bad!!

Yes, ok a remap but what BHP?

You wouldn't know unless it went on the rollers - It doesn't exist so they wouldn't quote anything other than the 200PS or 197BHP
