JBS or Jabbasport?

Featured Replies

Who shall i take my vrs to for tuning, JBS or Jabbasport? I've chose these 2 as there not too far away and are both pretty well recommended but don't know which to choose.

First mods will be an exhaust with sports cat, remap and induction kit.

Who do you prefer to take home after a night out? Christina Aquileira (sp?) or Britney Spears? You'll get as many answers for and against tuners, so don't expect a definate answer ;)

Mine's a Jabbasport btw.

As Quintin says, you will get many answers for both tuners,:D

so you really need to go with your gut feeling now you've narrowed down to these 2.

Remember to think about the whole package, ie. aftercare, service, etc.

I suspect you will be very pleased whichever you choose.

PS I also went to Jabbasport.

Out of the two, Jabba every day of the week.

They're not open on Sunday's though? ;)

Ive used jabba before, found the service excellent, i had a custom remap done on an 04 Fabia, no problems at all, a little bit more soot on the tailgate but thats it, I would use them again

I've used Jabbasport on my last six cars, no problems at all!!

I've only used them for one. :( But likewise no problems at all - in fact absolutely delighted. :D

Having spent money with both I'd say the opposite. As others have said though this thread is pretty pointless. My advice would be do some reading on this and other VAG forums, give the two companies a call to discuss your requirements and get a feel for the staff etc.., then choose one and go for it.

Another vote for Jabbasport, they have been tuning our cars for the last 4 years, excellent service every time & the results are guaranteed to put a big :) :) on your face.

Your never going to get a straight answer. I'd say Awesome as their more local to me :D

But if I must answer then Jabba. They were great on my visit.

I went to Jabba for my remap because they were "flavour of th emonth" when I asked the same question some years ago.

Now I'd choose JBS - because they're easier to get to.

Six of one and half a dozen of the other.

I'd look at what you want doing, what you have to spend and then give them both a call and make a decision then. Also think about how far they are for you to travel to for the work to be done and if you ever have to go back. I'd also think about the parts they use, whether the reputation of the kit is better at one tuner than another.

Dont always go for the cheapest option though, buy cheap but twice i always say...

I used Jabba when i had my vRS and found their service and staff to be of the highest standard.

I visited JBS on a RR day the forum held and the only feedback i got was that my car needed to be remapped and i should change the "dump valve" i was using for a recirc.

At the time i was running a bailey recirc with a jabba induction kit, the kit and valve made a decent amount of noise so i can only assume the guys didnt realise or hadnt experienced that setup before. As for the remap, i can only say that if i were in the same position as them i'd be trying to get the punters in as well... the car was running fine and producing good figures for a standard'ish car but i didnt get the best impression on the day.

Saying that i can see posts from other members who use JBS and have no problems at all and wouldnt go else where. For me though i'd probably use Jabba as i have a better experience of them.

Having spent money with both.

Umm, so have I to my great cost. :(

I used jabba for my custom remap, the remap was fine until i later added a full stainless steel exhaust, since getting that fitted the remap just isnt the same and that is where I found the customer service from Jabba not very good. They couldn't offer a tweak package they kept saying another full custom remap was needed. I had heard that they had done tweaks to peoples maps in the past.

In short, Remap was great, Customer Service not that great.

Tuning to my wifes fabia will be carried out a JBS.
