New Video Of The New Fabia

Featured Replies

Thanks :)

I think it videos better than it photographs, which bodes well for real life, I think :)

Looks better than I thought it was going to.

When and if they produce a vRS version i've found my new car. :)

It looks a bit tall.

Dave.

a set of Eibachs and Jabba ARB should cure that

Not looking great. Front grill looks a bit low and the eyes (lights) look dopy. Reminds me of a Proton at the front and a cross between the new astra/megane/swift at the back. Strange.

Might be better in the flesh.

The windows look VERY Suzuki Swift.

I think I like it more now I've seen the video as the photos left me cold.

Bring on the vRS and we'll see :)

Urgh.. looks like a Corsa!

Dont like at all!

I'd agree that I think the video looks better than the photos I saw. It looks like subtler than I thought, only satisfactorily slightly deviant from the current.

I am glad because it's nice to see something of the old model still in the new one if you get me, rather than a face (or tail)-lift gone-wrong appearance. I think they are doing a good job of keeping the brand current in the right direction, some may disagree.

Doubt I will be able to afford another VRS anytime soon after my latest anyway, but I'd be keen to see the new VRS regardless.

Looks very tall IMO!

That's because it is!

It's not entirely Skoda's fault though, from what I've read the latest pedestrian safety regs mean the gap between the top of the engine and the bonnet has to be greater, thus making the bonnet higher and having the knock on effect of having to sit the driver higher in order to see out of the thing then needing a higher roof!

Got it in one , thats exactly why they had to raise the driving position , and hence why the car is taller. Blame Brussels (again).

the vrs model is going to have to be a hell of a car before i would buy one :thumbdwn: skoda :(

Lets not pass judgement until we see it, at worse we can always keep our current models and run them into the ground. :D

What height does the new euro regs add to the new build cars then and how will they achieve this in 'proper' sports cars?
