Temperature Gauge Sticking

Featured Replies

Temperature Gauge was playing silly buggers this morning, I had driven about 4 - 5 miles (mostly uphill) and my temperature gauge needle was still at zero - Not having noticed this before, I keep a close eye on it, about a mile or so later as I started to decend the temp gauge (literally) sprang back into life then settled to normal temperature...

Anyone ever had this happen before? it was almost as if the needle was stuck.

Mine started doing this, I replaced the temperature sensor (about £25) and it's been fine since.

Seems to be a stock fault - it happened on my (previous) Octavia. A new temperature sender unit should do the trick.

happened on my vrs.Took snap connector off and cleaned connector is fine now.
