I'm after a front numberplate and have found prices to be somewhat variable.

Is this the factory fitted towbar?

Might seem a daft question, but I only bought the car from Cazoo today. (Couldn’t find the spec I wanted anywhere else.) Was advertised as having a fixed towbar and was looking into replacing it with a detachable one as I only need it very occasionally for bike rack. The more research I did the more I thought maybe it’s the retractable factory one and it’s just not retracting. Nothing happens when I pull the bit up in the boot. can anyone confirm if it is the retractable one and any id

Evening Briskoda brethren! Have been reading through old threads and one thing I've noticed is that replacing the front grill appears to be a bumper off job on the pre FL Octavia. Has anyone been able to figure out a way to replace the grill itself and/or have a guide to do it? Unfortunately my grill has a large crack along the middle. I can only imagine how much a dealer would quote for a new bumper. Thanks for your help in advance. !

Hi Ive noticed my start stop system isnt working and car showing high power consumption when i switch the start stop system to on. Doing so even when no air con is on etc. Display even said engine needed to be running evening though it was! Im guessing battery is on its way out?

Hello I have a Amunsen MIB2 with MST2_EU_SK_ZR_P0359T SW0359 HW28 PART NUMBER 5Q0 035 874B I have been looking very where to find an update as i believe there is SW 0363 H31 that will work on my system. I have also read that SW 0456 HW41 also works but i am not 100%. is there anyone that has either of these software or hardware they are will to share or has anymore information that could help me please would be much appreciated. Superb L&K - May, 2026 After driving in the rain and using the wipers for a while, I’ve noticed two strange things: Once the rain stops and the wipers stop running, a hazy/milky-looking area appears along the lower part of the windshield (on the outside). It looks almost like fog, but it’s definitely on the exterior. If I run the wipers again, it disappears, but after they stop, it gradually comes back, then fades away on its own after a few minutes.
