The time is fast approaching where my Octy will be due it's first service. The two garages I have as options are Horners in Manchester and Ingram Skoda in Glasgow (work near Manc and travel to Scotland most weekends). Has anybody had their first service at either of these garages and are they cool (or not) with my Jabba chip @229bhp and my Bailey Dump Valve?! :) and should I even metion it...........

Cheers

Horner's Manchester are good, 10% discount if you mention Briskoda too.

I imagine they won't even notice the remap/dump valve... :)

Don't mention it but Horners are not stroppy, providing your not taking the micky and trying to claim for stuff caused by your remap...I think this is the case for 99% of the dealers. Many are aware, and certianly as your only talking servicing it will not be a problem...

Afterall certain dealers will supply a car chipped...:D

Let them mention it, least you know it's had it's road test then.

It's a service and you're paying for it. It's no more their business that you have a Bailey or remap than you have a nodding dog on your parcel shelf. If you were entering a bogus warranty claim, then they might have a right to be miffed :)
