owners manual

Featured Replies

Hello to everyone, just found this excellent site. Anyone know where I can get my hands on an owners manual for a 2001 Octavia 2.0 Elegance Estate? Specifically need a diagram of the fuse board.

Thanks in anticipation,

Lorganz

You can order the manuals from the dealer.

The part number for the Octavia manual is S6356102120. It costs under

Is the hatch the same as the non hatch?

I might have one around

Thanks for your help. I am based in Blaenau Ffestiniog, North Wales.

Bleeding henry...

Have a chat with the dealer as posting it might cost almost as much as buying one. If buying it is expensive, then give me a poke and i'll see what i can do.

I probably shouldn't but I'm sure i can scan the picture of the fuse box for you.

Yep, up in the mountains with all those sheep but I promise you, I do refrain!!!!

Thanks for your help. Local dealer, (about 40mls away, lol), is seeing what he can do for me so I'll wait see if he comes up with anything.

It's well worth having a manual, but the fuses page on mine (2002 Octavia) was pretty confusing. They seem to have made a copy and paste blunder, and when you turn the page the fuses seem to start again with different numbers. And even once I'd figured that out, I still got confused as to which was which, I think because the manual showed LHD, but my car's obviously RHD.

Once I compared the ratings of the fuses in the fuse box with the ratings in the manual, I did eventually figure it out though, and wrote it out in a form that I'd have a hope of understanding if a fuse blew on a dark night miles from home!!!!

I was in Anglesey last week and the start of this week, and I managed to refrain from the sheep as well :-) Ikepy trying to get into caves only to find the BCA has gated half of the interesting ones up :finger:

I did this diagram a while ago for the same reason and stuck it on the inside of the fusebox cover:
