My girlfriend and I will be collecting 2 Fabia vRS's a week on wednesday, one silver (hers) and one black. Just thought I'd pop in and say hi. Looking forward to getting shut of the Coarser I've been using as a driving instructor for the last 6 months and getting into something a bit more fun. Can't believe the mid-range grunt of these little cars :eek: Not quite up to the standard of the Scooby I sold to pay for the driving school business, but pretty impressive when you consider the economy too.

Already planning to Revo, PD160, Jabba rear ARB and possibly Eibachs on both

Yeah, I tend to go a bit all-or-nothing :P The cash we'll be saving on fuel will be plouged into making them better drivers cars, for now. In time another Scoob will be acquired

Well, collected them both today and am thoroughly pleased. The g/f hadn't even driven one before we collected and so was amazed with the performance, comparing the mid-range pull to our old Subaru. Had an enjoyable drive up from Mansfield to Donny to pick up my steel wheels, then called by a mates in Castleford to get some vinyl on to protect the roof from the magnetic roof box (driving instructor) and then got some tyres fitted to the steelies back home in Leeds. Returned 56mpg (according to the computer) on the A1 and only dropped to 49 around town in Leeds, and that's with me enjoying the surge at every opportunity.

So far, so very good.
