Hi from furelise

Featured Replies

Finally decided to sign up today - after visting the site for many months - and after a short visit the the NW meet yesterday at a foggy and cold Cat & Fiddle.

We've had our Furby vRS for four months and 5k miles now - so still running it in - but very, very pleased so far. Only modifications are the upholstery - after following the threads on the forum about fuzzing seats (and being worried about keeping them clean) we opted to take our brand new Furby to Seat Surgeons in York, where we had it fitted with red and dark grey leather - red perforated for the seat and back with dark grey surrounds and grey door cards - all with with red stitching.

Oh and yes the dealer did the mods for the famous stutter - it's still there but mostly un-noticable - and we now know how to drive to avoid it now. So for me it in now way spoils an excellent little car

Also new rear discs and pads already - fortunately fitted under warranty - as they had corroded and warped (though nobody has any idea why).

Best regards,

furelise

Hi Captain Scarlet - thanks for your comments and yes we are very pleased with them - it gives us a buzz every time we just climb in the car. And then of course we fire her up - and the fun begins .......... We have certainly been enjoying her so far (4 months and 5k miles - so she is getting almost run-in now).

Partly we bought her to replace a previous car which some scrotes stole off our drive a few years ago - a Polo G40 (with the Garrett supercharger. That was a fun car - the ones we had in between didn't come close really - but the Furby does. So pleased that we we decided to buy one last year before production ceases

Can I ask:

How much did you pay for such nice leather seats?

Thanks for letting me know,

Udo
