Hi Everyone,

I was cleaning my MAF sensor and ran the VW part number through Google and I got a hit on Ignition Car Parts just wondering if anyone had any dealings with them as there prices seem reasonable. The price of MAF for my Octy is roughly half of that from the dealer (even without the surcharge).

Does anyone know whether they are Bosch OEM parts or are they 3rd party and $64,000 question are they any good?????!!!?????

Pick up the dog and bone and ask??

I see that a MAF for the 1.8T is £58.83 inc VAT and P&P from Ignition Car Parts. I would be interested to know the dealer price for an exchange OEM one.

I have seen a few MAF's changed and to be honest I wouldn't buy anything other than an OEM one.

These are an amazingly important part of the smooth and efficient running of the car - don't try to save yourself a tenner on an iffy one.
