Superb dash colour

Featured Replies

Hi

(New user, so sorry if this has already been discussed in a previous thread...)

I was wondering if it is possible to change the green dash lights in the superb for the blue ones like those that the VW Passat comes with?

Can it be done for the whole front console (inc. stereo, climate control etc)?

Is it easy?!...

Thanx

I don't know for sure on the Superb but most other current Skoda's use SM LED's so it's quite a task.

If you wanted to do this then you would have to replace all the other illuminated parts throughout the car....

I would have suggested buying a Passat...

But then he would have wanted Green in stead of the Blue, Then you would have said " I would have suggested buying a Superp "....

I did it in the Octavia using golf clocks and switches, I suspect the same can be done in the superb using passat parts. Check my guide in the guide section to get you started.

I dont get these people who want "Passat interior lights" or "Passat rear lights" what next passat front grille, passat front lights! cut out 100mm from the body so its the same length!!! A Superb is better than the passat because of how it is standard and thats a fact! if you wanted a car that looks like a bl**dy passat why dont you go and buy a bl**dy passat and be done with it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But if you took 4" out of the middle of a Superb, you could sell the metal for scrap, weld the rest of it shut and then enjoy lower depreciation. Win win situation.

rotodiesel.

I prefer the Superb over the Passat due to it's rareness on the road. Nuff Said!

LOL!!! You really should be driving a VW or Audi mate!!

it's got the best name of any car, ever!

I guess you don't like Passats then!

People like to mix and match bits they like from different cars to make them more personal its called customisation(you can't get a lot of Superb aftermarket parts), just because someone likes the blue dash lights you get in all VW's doesn't mean that they don't like the Superb. Take a chill pill, it's not hurting you!

What about a passat rear spoiler? :rolleyes:http://www.briskoda.net/forums/superb/rear-spoilers-anyone-fitted-one/67877/#post778979

Prehaps you should take your own advice.

I hate blue lights, they scare me to death!

I bought a Skoda Superb because it is powerful, built well, looks smart and cheap, not because it was a Skoda.

If you were to put on a Passat spoiler i wouldn't say to you, you might as well go buy a Passat. so maybe you could just keep those comments to yourself. (was not aimed at eddy)

Just Eddy's opinion mate.

Bit like putting RS4's on a Skoda, LOL!!

Think you got a bit confused with who i was having a pop at, nothing wrong with putting a passat spoiler on or RS4 wheels to that matter, LOL

I'm just too tight to fork out the £20 for some Skoda ones. Maybe i'll make it a "summer project".
