Parrot Kits CK3000 or CK3100

Featured Replies

Going to buy a car kit, as i think i need one to take away temptation of picking up my phone whilst driving now the new law is active.

I've been looking at the Parrot Kits CK3000 or CK3100 because both of these connect direct to the ISO blocks via the rear of the stereo so no complication wiring is needed.

Which one do i go for ????

I like the CK3100 as it has caller ID, but is this going to be the new nickable thing from our cars. Fancy Car kits disapearing.

CK3000 is cheap as chips and very discreat, no caller ID.

Any experience or help choosing would be great. Sorry if this has been covered before. I have had a Briskoda Seach, but would like some updated views.

I have the 3100 IIRC sitting in my garage, Call answer button is a bit loose. Works very well.

Make me an offer.....

:DI might just do that, still undecided which one to go for though yet.

Let you know ASAP.

3100 personally as you can see who is calling and reject the call. You then don't have to mount your phone, just leave it in the arm rest with a charger to it :)

I actually like the 3200 which is what I had in the old car.

I have the 3100 in the car for a year now it work well

so that would be my chose

I've gone for the 3000 for the same reason as you have stated, it is small, discrete and with the car parked up, nothing that screams 'nick me' (to be fair, that does the MFD already ;)). Microphone sits in the interior light panel, control panel underneath the HU in the transmission tunnel (loads of space for wires) and button sits next to the handbrake lever in easy access of my left hand. As my phone lives in a Brodit cradle on the centre console vents (next to the hazard light switch), I have no need for caller ID screens as the phone takes care of it.

Got the 3100, my phone tends to be in the laptop bag or in my coat pocket/door pocket so for me the display is good ;)

That said I'm likely to get some kinda satnav with bluetooth enabled handsfree if I end up travelling much more this year, so will see what happens :)

Halfords are doing the CK3000 (EVOLUTION - whatever that means) for

£99 inc fitting is an excellent price, but you can bet your behind that they will not fit it as neat as you would do (or in the location you want them to). Also note that they will try to charge you for all sorts of sundries that they happen to be needing (and you dont need any). I got mine of ebay at £58 inc.

Im looking at Ebay at £60, connection looks easy, no hard wiring required, just connect to the stereo ISO cable blocks.

Yeah connection is easy, it is the wire mess that is the hard part ;)
