Does anyone know much about this extra, sounds quite cool, and would be handy to have as an adition if it didnt cost too much?

There are a few ways to do this, have a search and you should find two seperate modules listed. one is an add-on [inside the drivers door] and the other reprograms the comfort module.

Hiya mate - popular options include alientech and there's a single-use programming dongle called vagprodukt (IIRC).

I am working on a DIY guide to programming the relevant module for next to nothing - I intend to set up tonite to test the sequence. I have to try it out on my own car before I can put it up for others, so that we all know it works.

Just fitted the autowindow module and it works a treat

i was the first to fit the autowindow to a fabia. have a search for fabia full closure there are fitting instructions on there.

not that difficult to fit and works a treat.
