HELP!!!

Can anyone point me in the right direction please........

I am looking at getting prices on a 3" stainless straight through cat-back exhaust system, can anyone recommend anywhere good?

Cheers:thumbup:

Miltek apparently do one. Awesome GTI seem to be a good place to start (I should get a discount on mine for this Sarah! :D )

Yup. they used to do a 2.5" system and a 3" system. They now only do a 3" system. I know this as I'm getting one in the next few weeks (some research has been done :) )

Firstly, thank you for the info!!!!!!

Secondaly, how much?

I think this maybe what you're looking for...

"the downpipe is £316.00 + VAT and the system is £280.67 + VAT

Fitting on the downpipe and cat will be £90.00 + VAT"

For a custon job try www.primarydesighns.co.uk ask for Pat Barrett he made my 100cel downpipe and cat, badger Bill also uses him

I need to replace part of the system, and wanted the biggest bore size as possible.

I had to get the back box changed as it cought my rear arb, and the nobs that changed the rear axle pipe/rear box only used 2"/2.25" stainless, Elton who is mapping the car this week now the IHI stuff is on says it may cause a restriction so my figures will be limited to 320-330bhp......

I figured if someone does a 3" system i'll replace the lot, and have the map tweeked at a later date when I have the pistons, rods etc. done.

The dp and sports cat are 3''...the cat back Jetex is 2.5''....runs 340bhp on max boost.

If you run a 3'' straight through..it will be very loud. Also I wonder whether you will need some back pressure....cat may gives this but I don't really all the in and out s of this.

H&S probably can do a custom job for you but...it will be expensive. Blueflame will more than likely would also be able to do a custom job.

they make wicked ****, but aren't they priced accordingly? a ceramic coated PD manifold for a FRS is like

If it is any help the black octavia that was here when you dropped yours off has also got a turbo kit, that is running a Pipe Werx 3" exhaust, that was made custom for the car as there isnt anyware ealse that does a FULL 3" system for the mk1 Octavia vRS, after seeing what a good job they done on that one we now send all our cars to him!!!! :)
