Hi I'm a newie here with a 1.9 TDI Fab.

Have got replacement cd head as cant stand the tape/radio any longer. Needs a code? Grateful for any ideas.

If it's an OEM one it does need the code.

IIRC- the original owner can get the code from the dealer or you can take the unit to the dealer and they can contact the manufacturer to get the code.

Otherwise it's useless.

If you have a reciept for the Radio you should be able to get a code from Skoda.

Not sure what you mean by OEM.....please expand.

I do not have receipt...bought on ebay! Could an ICE shop decode?

An ICE shop may be able to read the code - I don't think there is a calculator.
