Lowering springs

Featured Replies

When I look at the Fabia I'm thinking it could do with being dropped by a fair amount [20-30mm]. Does anyone have shots of their Fabia standard then dropped? Could do with seeing some examples before I commit :)

Was going to fit these when I do the Rear ARB and the 'ready for summer' clean :)

Thanks, how much is that dropped by?

It should be lowered by 25mm. Thats the standard figure quoted by eibach when fitting with the original dampers. I havent any pics of it at standard ride height for a comparison.

GO go my Signature link there before and after pictures of the car. its lowered 25mm on Eibach pro dampers and springs.

Unfortunately I don't have any pictures of it in standard height.

looks lowads better, i have seen some cobra springs that lower 40mm front 30mm rear, i think these would make it look even better, std fabia ride height is far to high for a sprty height! Nearly as bad as the fiesta ST!!!

May I introduce "the mongral junior" before and after lowering on 17's

have you got any pics from the side?

H&R Coilovers, fully low :)

Looking at that car. I think I will be getting my silver door handles and taking the plastic strips off from the side my car. Looks much smoother without!

Looks nice

this best I've got I'm afraid

Do the side strips just "pull off"? Any tips??

To remove the side strips, warm the glue up with a hairdryer and pull, very slowly, keeping the hairdryer on all the time.

By bottoming out, do you mean the suspension hitting the bump-stops? If so... No, and I get no scrubbing on the tyres/arches either, even with 8" Wide rear wheels... However the sump guard does scrape along the road fairly often :)
