standard or option?

Featured Replies

hi guys

my octy vrs mk 1 has a few options electric roof, rear parking sensors .it also has cruise control .was this an option or is it standard?

Cruise was standard on the L&K and an option on the Elegance and vRS.

they are all options by the sound of it.

Very sure they are all options!

When I picked up my vrs 3 months ago it didn’t have any of these. I had the parking sensors and cruse fitted as extras. I never had a arm rest.

my 02 vr has cruise, e/s/r, reversing sensors, as standard, although cant see the point of a sunroof and aircon..?

If you bought the car brand spanking new from a dealer then these would have been added as options at some point at the factory.

The vRS never came with cruise, elec sunroof and parking sensors as standard, cruise and parking sensors can be added at the dealers but the sunroof is a factory option.

If you look at the parking sensors are they in the bumper and colour coded or on the bump strip and black? If they are on the bumper and colour coded they are factory fit.

I had my parking sensors fitted when I bought the car 2nd hand. The sensors are not on the black bump strip, but are lower down.

The Skoda dealer made a hash of the job; I now have 4 white rings, on the bumper round the sensors, as they couldn’t be bothered to touch the bumper up after cutting.

Not only are they all options, they are ALL the options that were available on the mk 1 RS. (Or they were when I got mine in 2002). So you have a fully specced car
