MINI Revolution????

Featured Replies

Don't know what it might be like in other parts but around Dublin City at the moment there seems to be a MINI revolution.

The range from standard to a large number of Coopers with red and silver being the most popular colours. Where I am living there are usually at least 3 or 4 parked on one street most days.

Is the same thing happening anywhere else?

It's been like that where I live since the old new mini came out. fuul of people who can't afford proper BMW's and people who want to be seen as trendy. plus London is full of British Racing Green coopers with Foxtons Estate agents 'rebel' decals on the side.

I tend to see quite a few MINIs around here too - but taking into account where I live, I guess it's not that shocking :o

I've seen a lot around Dublin, they do seem to be very popular. Still not as bad as London though.

And you just know, that all those Mini owners have given their cars a nickname!!

To$$ers!

Unlike "Furby" or "Octy" or .... er .... "Supy"?

I think he meant a name like: Mike, Bob, Fred.

Mondy, Furby Octy are the model and therefore would not class as a name......

although calling yourself by the make/model of car you have is slighty more tosserish ;) (joke)

my brother once had a MINI....nuff said!

he still is one now! :);)

Chris, that's exactly what I meant.

Also, I always refer to my car both verbally and written, as Oct/Octavia, I can't bring myself to say Octy, Furby etc.

Off to check my past posts right now.
