Just brought a Fabia VRS after having me arm twisted by a mate. Took one for a test drive and fell in love (apologies to the missus). As such, I now have a lovely red example with Cruise control and 6 disc changer. Very tidy....

However, my beast of a friend has already demanded at least an anti-roll bar to be fitted, to show willing. I think it's quick enough....

I KNOW! Strike me down, put an apple in my mouth, Paxo in me Durty and turn me on a spit for saying that, but I am an uneducated fool. However, feel free to follow me on my trail of discovery, education and abuse as the Hedgehog guides me through what I need to put where so I can drive as nippily (is that a word?) as the rest of you. Jabbasport, here I come.

Hello from an - er - seasoned newbie. I still wouldn't really know whether or where to start since, aside from insurance implications, most mods will have a knock-on effect on other things as well, so doing things in the right order is a good thing.

I suspect a rear ARB might have been suggested re handling rather than extra speed, though someone who knows about cars will probably come along shortly

LOL You know that song "Here we go gathering nuts in May, nuts in May, nuts in May" ? Well, if I were you I'd keep yours under wraps as Spring is early this year

There are tons of pics on here - give us a shout if you are looking for particular ones, though I guess you'll have to decide on your modding requirements/intentions first :rubchin: If you do decide to "mod", I hope you will post some of your photies

An ARB won't make your car go faster; if anything the extra mass and air drag will slow it down! OTOH the handling improvement could lead to you having to brake less for corners, so you could get point to point faster.

jabba ARB is the single best mod on my car. cracking value for money. it makes it much more fun to drive. Have to say, i don't think drag would be a major issue on the fabia cosidering its shaped like a brick.
