Hello everybody....god dammit..I do not know what to say. I own a W reg Skoda Octavia SLX TDI (110BHP) 1896 which I bought from from my daughter. It now has 85,000 miles on it. I like it very much BUT....it has developed a possibly fatal habit of cutting out dipped main headlights to leave me with sidelights when I have been travelling for about an hour in the dark. Not a good thing to do on motorways at 70 mph +. Cold start-up everything OK. My local Skoda dealer, flummoxed. Anyone else help me, please. Next thing I try the internet and get into this sophisticated website. Can anybody help. Many Thanks. Davidem.
